RF.. if things go pete tong for me in a few weeks.. I may have to call upon your expertise!
If you are in earnest about contacting RF if things go wrong, then it is best that you make contact with her long before that so she has time to talk to you now about what has happened so far. IF you are convicted then you may not even have time to contact anyone as you may go straight to prison from the court.
Sorry to sound glum, but IF RF could help you, she needs as much time as possible before it all goes wrong....

A quick update on RS: the appeal barrister is visiting him in prison as I type this. I know we have grounds, just hope that the meeting produces more and goes well.

It did! Barrister Dan emailed me shortly after the visit and Redscouse rang me this morning. Barrister Dan is going back in to see him once he has got the rest of the paperwork from trial counsel.
Three Grounds identified by me and two (I think) by Dan. He's added in the Doli Incapax although if that succeeded, it would get rid of the minor alleged offences only. Thanks to Soulbug for reminding me about that a few months back
Redscouse rang me this morning to say that he's had notification of receipt of the Application from CA in London. Now we wait about six months to see if he gets leave to appeal.
I hadn't heard from Redscouse for a few weeks, then a few days ago I received an email from his brother, asking whether I had heard from him, as they had not and they were worried. I immediately sent Redscouse an email (Email a Prisoner) and he rang me the next day.
He's really low as he's stuck in a local prison waiting to go to a "training prison" - should be C cat soon I think. Although the appeal has been lodged he is really, really low. He said he had not been in touch with me as I'm busy and he didn't want to bother me or worry me. I told him that part of my job is to be there when he's down and to ring or write / keep in touch. I told him I worry when I don't hear from him.
I wondered if members here who are known to me personally, might consider writing to him. It could be just a postcard saying you've heard he's feeling low and you hope he perks up soon and hope that he will be transferred to a more suitable prison soon.
No need to mention your case, just say you are a friend of RF from the support groups.
