I can't agree with that. That poor woman went through absolute hell and she has lost her daughter to a vile paedophile/murderer. She may have gone over the top in some ways but I still really do feel for her.

That's ok, RF. Until you're in the situation of knowing that she would happily have your privacy invaded for all to see, and to place your safety at risk, along with that of your family, and has campaigned for just that - one size fits all, no facts involved - then no I wouldn't expect you to agree. Maybe if she had restricted her campaign to not include those who are maintaining their innocence, then maybe I might not regard her as a bigot.
I lost a child too, but I'm not going around calling for others of that ilk to be strung up, or actions to that effect which place them and their families in danger.

And I won't even mention that the law she campaigned for wouldn't have saved her child either.

At the other end of the scale, after the Select Committee grilling, I wrote to Tom Watson MP, congratulating him for instigating it, and for being incisive in his line of questioning, along with asking if someone would sometime query how Mrs Brooks got hold of The Register in 2001.

I got back a really nice Thank You email from him.
What a nice guy. It's little things like that which set him way ahead of the rest.
