    Hi
Well here goes, a few months ago someone entered my home with a weapon and tried to rape me. I fought with him like I have never fought with anyone before in my life, I screamed and begged him to leave me alone. I ended up getting a beating but thankfully he didn?t get to rape me - my neighbours heard my screams and called the police. I gave a good description of him and he was caught that same night with the weapon and ready to try again.
I then found out that the day before he attacked me he had raped someone twice. I then found out he had just been released from prison for making threats to kill two people, one who was a child. He had also spent six years out of a ten year sentence in prison for two previous rapes. Why was he ever released in the first place? He has pleaded guilty to everything that he did to me and this other women and is being sentenced this week. He has totally ruined my life cos I am so scared of life now. Yes I know I am lucky. I?m probably the luckiest women alive but I would just like to say to all you survivors of rape I admire you all and send all of you my love and best wishes and hope that all of you get stronger and stronger everyday.
There is light at the end of the tunnel for all of us and now after this monster is sentenced I?m gonna try and get my life back together this beast doesn?t deserve to be in my thoughts anymore
Good luck to you all be strong and be there for one another.
    Love from lucky xx

I just want to say your courage is admirable and I take my hat off to you, for being so truly brave, I?m happy to see that you have not let in drag you down, please make sure you do receive some counselling though as these things sometimes creep back up on us later in life. I think your amazingly brave and I wish you all the luck in the world.
You are an inspiration to survivors everywhere.
