But, for any future use - Could the FAs knowledge and controlling accusations be used at a later date as a motive for her actions?

    Thanking you.
Oh my goodness, what a lot you are dealing with right now!! Sadly a month isn't long enough for most accusations to be dealt with but in this case it might have a benefit for you. Becoming a father is a big deal no matter the relationship with the baby's mother. Perhaps, if you can get to grips with the idea that probably nothing much will happen with the false accusation for a while yet, that will give you some mental and emotional space to concentrate on and come to terms with fatherhood and what that will and won't mean for you.

It all looks positive in terms of establishing a motive, but that is something best discussed with a specialist solicitor if and when the need arises. I hope it doesn't.

In the meantime, I'm sending all best wishes and tentative congratulations if you consider them appropriate.

I think Frantic has said it all and far more eloquently than I could TJ.

I'm not sure how you feel about becoming a father but it is happening and I'm sure you will be a good dad. It may have been a surprise but it will give you something to focus on. Building your relationship with the mother will also give you some solid grounding and friendship. - You will have to work with her for your common goal for many years so make sure you get off on the right foot!

It would seem that if the FA knew about this there would be some jealousy involved so possibly a good angle regarding the motivation but as FWW says, don't worry about that at the moment.

        Update

No advance in the investigation as of yet.
I rang my OIC and Solicitor a few days ago only to find out that my phone hasn't even been analysed yet so they're really dragging their feet, huh?
I see my FA'er everywhere lately; we literally work a few shops away from each-other with her mother working exactly next door to my shop. Most people would shy or walk away from their job(s) because of this situation, but not me. I know for a fact I'm innocent and there is no way that I'm giving up a job / career that I have dedicated the past two years of my life towards.

I've had two promotions since this whole drama began, as well as the news of my first-born due in July (To my long term ex-partner prior to the FA'er)!
Things are positive, momentarily. But I still have some days better than others and so forth. But you just gotta keep your head high, right? Because there is no way I will be allowing this to come between the relationship I have with my first born Son.

        Thanking you all,

          Thanking you all,
I'm so glad to hear that you are managing to maintain such a positive mental attitude. It really is a key element of retaining your sanity through this debacle.

I honestly think that phones and other electronics will take a bit longer than usual to get sorted now that there have been so many disclosure fiascos. You can bet that the police will be being meticulous about that sort of thing, at least for a while. It doesn't help you much in the short term, but it might help the patience to last as long as it needs to.

And yes, all you can do is keep your head held high - and look forward to meeting that baby!

            Amazing outcome!

            Hello everybody!
Sorry for being inactive for so long, but work and preparing for my firstborn has had me overwhelmed.
But today, I got home from the school run to discover a letter from my local constabulary - Opened it, and to my relief it was an NFA!
I am grateful for the support I have received from you ALL and to those of you still going through this torture, the truth will out. You just need to keep yourself grounded and sane for as long as possible.

Thank you all, ever so much.
