Nearly 12 weeks on since my last update, and yep, you guessed it - still nothing.

It's been 15 months now and to be honest, the service I have received (or lack of) has been utterly disgraceful - and I mean from my solicitor to the Police here.

My solicitor rarely comes back to me until I chase him at least twice. Yes, sure, he's busy attending other cases in court etc, but this really isn't my issue and he is my 'go to' person.

I won't go into details publicly here, but I have vital evidence that the two FA's and someone related to them have been snooping on me. I forwarded all evidence to my solicitor only asking that the DC passes this on to the CPS as it will weigh heavily in my favour, and yet again, I have heard nothing. This was 4 weeks ago.

I have chased and chased. My solicitor tells me the DC isn't responding to him, so my hands are tied well and truly.

I do not want the DC's thoughts, opinions or any other information about what evidence I sent over - all I am asking for is confirmation - a quick 'Yes, this has been sent to the CPS' that it has been forwarded to the CPS.

    Disgusting level of service.

Everything - all emails and evidence - is logged with me and should either case go to court, the Police will look amateurish at best and extremely exposed.

It is very frustrating as I have been strictly told that I am not allowed to speak to the DC whatsoever and that all communication must go through my Duty Care Solicitor.

The thing is, my Duty Care Solicitor is as useless as the DC, so I feel I am battling alone in this.

Patience OEN, easy to say I know but many have been where you are and we do share and feel your frustration. However, no news can be good news so hold on to that thought and try to keep yourself busy while you wait it out.

The police seem to only be able to work at a snail's pace sadly, they are not called plod for nothing!

I must say it is unusual for the OIC to refuse to be contacted directly but it is best to act through a solicitor if possible. You are unlikely to get anywhere but up the OIC's nose if you continuously ask for updates, around once a month is plenty.

Your duty solicitor is not being paid by legal aid to act between interview and charge so unless you are paying them privately they are unlikely to make you much of a priority when as you say, they have clients with more pressing needs. If they are waiting for a response from the OIC then there is literally nothing for them to bother telling you.I'm sure they will contact you if there is any news.

Hopefully you will hear something soon,

      Hang in there.
