  • So confused need your expert opinion please

OH had recently had all bail restrictions lifted it dies say in one box postal charge, but told they could not go any further into station as ran out of the clock time , so he's been told it is a postal charge that will be sent in a week or two , however his other sheet of paper also says NFA and is due to insufficient evidence clear written on it , and headed as notification of No further action .

Of course we are fully aware of all the little stunts they play so are not even thinking it being this ( as much as we dream ) so again thinking they have made an error or is this normal for postal charges ? Grateful for any thoughts, planning to use a well recommended sol on here and they have offered to contact them about it and ask about the charge to as we take it the OIC would know but would not say on the day prevented answer the duty sol . So next question is do we let the solicitor follow it up or just sit tight for now ?

I am wondering if you have misunderstood what you have been given as you say it mentions NFA as well as "postal charge". it could be that this is their "this is what will happen - either / or" sort of thing.

If you are not sure, then when it becomes necessary, the solicitor should be able to get the position clarified.

Hi RF thank you for getting back to me so quick ,

OH has a bail restrictions lifted sheet with the postal charge on and a second sheet that says notification - no further action and it says in it due to insufficient evidence .
It is just the waiting getting to OH and probably more so
Myself - does this change your thoughts at all ? Or shall we just wait and see , or ask sol to go ahead and ask OIC as offered - did not want to rattle any cages if a tiny chance of anything good .

How confusing! It sounds like an either or scenario though - that they have yet to make a decision. Without seeing it I cannot really say and obviously you cannot post it up here.

        Which solicitor is it?

You having a problem typing hon?

Is he away from the office, you mean? If he is then I'm thinking he will be at trial.

Leave it for a few days and see if you get something else through the post?

                Thanks again RF

Will wait for a few days and see and then , and contact him again if not heard anything . Part of me and OH says wait and the other says find out . OH has been in limbo now for 10 months, just the bail release is like fresh air but not sunk in at all, and keep thinking they'll be back again .

On a light note please do forgive me I get muddled fingers / my brain runs away quicker than my fingers type , sorry must learn to slow down a bit .

Absolutely no need to apologise! I can be the same as I am sure most of us are.
