I'm glad that you accepted my comments, it's just that we see the effects of excessive alcohol on this forum; I've lost count of the number of new members who reported that their 'one night stand' partners have 'happily' agreed to intercourse after a few drinks then withdrawn consent in the morning.

I do take your point about it being an addiction, what little I know about this indicates the problem (and solution) lies in taking the first drink.
