Well I'm back at the police station today to answer bail, god I'm dreading this. I hope they no further action.
To make things even worse, I've got to attend an investigation at work on for alleged gross misconduct, They said my actions have damaged the company brand and could lead me to being dismissed. Things just get worse. I'll report back tonight after my bail hearing.
Mark, I really hope you get NFA today. Then I would like to see your co-worker investigated at work for damaging the company/company brand.

I've already been suspended from work, if/when I'm found not guilty, how do I face going back to work , I'll see her every day ( and her mum works in HR ).
If you're Not Guilty - that is in the eyes of the law so there is no reason at all why you should not go back to work, and if you are dismissed then I believe you would have grounds for a Tribunal on grounds of unfair dismissal.

Absolutely not!!! You haven't even been charged yet!!! And you may not be!!! It may be that after it's all over you may not want to work for that organisation any more, but this doesn't stop you from working for other organisations.
According to a fellow colleague and friend I work with, she is being her normal self, laughing, joking with fellow members of staff, she certainly doesn't seem traumatized or upset, I mean surely if you had been attacked as she suggested you wouldn't be at work laughing it up enjoying your life

As you have a friend/s still at work who see her daily, could you ask them to keep a daily dated log of how she is behaving at work? if possible signed and dated by 2 people - or 2 people to keep separate logs - this would possibly useful evidence for you if this goes to court. And you are absolutely right, anyone who has been through what she claims to have suffered would be very traumatised and find it very difficult to function in any normal way let alone be laughing and joking.
I'm due to answer bail on the 12th of march, the days just seem to take so long, I just want it over.
Sadly, these cases can take a very long time (18 months plus sometimes), but equally they can be over in a few weeks. Have you got friends/family supporting you?
Have you thought of why this woman has done this? Has she heard of the compensation that is paid to people who have make allegations of sexual abuse? Has anyone noticed her spending much more money than usual? Is she out for revenge?

As I understand Mark's post, he has not been charged as yet and so hopefully it may be that the CPS will consider that there is little chance of winning a court case and not take it any further.
Your case will be treated as a historic rape case as she waited a week before going to the police thereby stopping the police from collecting vital medical, forensics or photography evidence.
Also, there are no independent witnesses to prove her allegations are true.
I was charged with raping my wife and faced a total of 38 years in prison if found guilty.
But the Police/CPS produced no independent witnesses, medical, forensics or photography evidence at my 11 day trail and I was found not guilty on 5 counts of rape.
The Police/CPS are able to charge suspected sex offenders just on the word of the alleged victim.
However, no jury without any supporting evidence to prove the Police/CPS case will find you guilty.
If she was really being forced against her will she should have gone straight to a hospital and had her wounds treated and then gone to the police with the medical and photographic evidence to prove her allegations against you.
Or she would have screamed to attract attention of any passers-by's while the attack was happening.
Or she would have scratched your face during the attack defending herself.
All these points would go through the jury's minds and they will not believe her allegations.
As the Head of the Met Police says in the above BBC article it is a "Catch 22" situation with historic rape cases.
However, the Police/CPS will probably hold another rape trail at tax payers expense, which is almost certainly going to fail due to lack of evidence.
As I believe that the weak collation government want to seen taking action against men for alleged rape to win the female vote.
Hi Mark and welcome though sorry you had to find us.....try to write down everything that happened that evening including what she said what you said etc. If you have any social media correspondence or emails you have exchanged screen shot them or forward any emails to an account that the police can't find. If you are charged you will need a specialist solicitor......
I understand your feelings and shock at your arrest but unfortunately the police will have to take her allegations seriously unless you can prove different.
I note you mentioned the texts which will help to prove your version of events; also can you think of a reason why she would want to cause you such problems from a false allegation? Does she have a facebook account? Sometime a false accuser will paint a completely different account of the 'ordeal' on there which can be screenshot.

I have been accused of attempted rape and false imprisonment of a fellow co worker, I can't go into too much details but the alleged incident happened in my car on the 12th of February. She masturbated me off and we kissed which was totally consensual, she said she can't do this as I'm 3 days early, she then mentioned she had an STI and couldn't do anything sexual until Saturday, at this point I masturbated my self off and she watched and said, I'm coming to your house on Saturday.
Anyway on Friday the 21th the police came to arrest me for attempted rape and false imprisonment. She has told the police I forced her to masturbate me, which is totally fictional, apparently I held her head and force her to watch me masturbate which is another lie
The false imprisonment charge is because she apparently tried to escape from the car and the door was locked, which is another lie, even with Central Locking, as far as I'm aware it only stop the doors from being opened from the outside. I saw her at work on Friday the 14th after and everything was totally fine, we got on totally fine, it wasn't awkward and I didn't suspect anything.
I'm currently on bail and I've been suspended from work, my bail conditions say I can't have any kind of contract with her and because we work in the same place, work have suspended me.
I'm due to answer bail in a few weeks, what is likely to happen. I'm so worried I'll have to go to court/jail
I don't know why she left it a week to report it to the police. On the Friday after she seemed fine, I'm absolutely furious about being accused of false imprisonment.
this isn't technically rape as I didn't penetrate her in any way what so ever but its likely I'm going to loose my job, freedom and even get jail time for this bull ****.
what can I expect from bail hearing, any advice would be greatly appreciated. I should mention she sent me numerous dirty sexual texts before hand and the police have my phone at present and are using it as evidence.
