    There have been class actions on other matters (such as slopping out in prisons) taken here in the UK involving more than one person, however you would need a good solicitor prepared to take it on for a number of clients. The way legal aid is at the moment you have more chance of skiing up the Manchester ship Canal on a rug than achieving that. Paying privately would be horrendously expensive.

    Applications to the ECHR are notoriously hard to do and mostly have to be done within 6 months of the last UK domestic court hearing on the same matter.

    Dozens of people have set up Government petitions for the same end and failed miserably.

    You might think you are doing something worthwhile but then so have all those other people, who failed.
