Altering of witness statemnt

Hi everybody

I have just learnt that the FA can their statement multiple times. If this is true, I think it is important that we make everyone aware that whatever is said in the first interview could be used against you later or tailored as is needed by the police.

For example, the information in my first interview was used in my accussor's statement that was read to me several weeks later!!!

What do you people think?

Hi Rik, This is why it's so important to have a solicitor present, even at the 1st interview (preferably a specialised one of your choice). I'm afraid you (and other members) have learnt the hard way.

Well the good news in the first interview is that I was vague about a few things coz I felt like the information that was requried was too specific. On the whole I now know to keep it stum!!
