Husband wrongfully accused of rape , don't know what to do!

Saddened, I really don't think they care at all we've been treated appallingly throughout the whole ordeal, really is awful. Sol calling again at 8, so still hoping for some news before the day is out.

Well what a disgrace this is!! I hope you will be putting a complaint in through your MP. Update,

My hb has just spoken to the OIC. He has said that there has not been a decision made, there's been movement in the case but no answer or end, we shouldn't have been told any of what we have today as it is mis information. No mention of charges. So basically all the pain and heartache and anxiety experienced today is unwarranted and we are in the same position as we were this morning before being told anything.

So exhausted and Absolutely dumbfounded and heartbroken that this has happen now trying to let it sink in that we are back to facing weeks maybe even months of waiting. Just can't believe it.

Hi WW - how dreadful for you both.....I would suggest you keep a written record (where plod can't get it) of the exact details of to-day's events. It may be useful for you in the future and also to give a copy to your solicitor....
The waiting is awful as we all appreciate because you are powerless to move things forward. Easy to say - but try to set aside some time every day where you have time together where you give yourselves a rest for this and really spoil each other.......

When you have slept on this nightmare of a time, list everything that has happened, find out who your MP is and make an appointment to visit his or her surgery. Then explain and ask him to complain on your behalf to the Head of the force concerned. This is a disgrace, so fight all the way. xxxx

So pleased to say that we got the NFA today!!! So so happy and relieved that this nightmare is starting to end(unfortunately FA is still lingering about)

Also police informed us that they could see from the initial interview it was all rubbish, but had to do due process.

Additionally she printed out edited texts and gave them to police as evidence, and they later discovered the real texts from phone company, so there is proof she deliberately tried to set him up for something he didn't do, therefore we have a case for perverting the course of justice!

Thank you all for your support and well wishes, it has been completely invaluable in a time when I felt no one could understand. It's comforting to be reminded there are still kind people in the world!
