it's fairly normal for police to do all of these background checks on you. They'll be looking for anything in your history that might help build a bad picture of you. If you haven't accessed nasty stuff on your computer, then your computer should come back clear. However, bear in mind that if you regularly access 'normal' pornography, sometimes, nastier images are hidden among it. A solicitor on your behalf would argue for you that it accessing this was not intentional however so try not to worry about that.

It would only show her to be potentially racist. That takes us nowhere.

As Faith says it doesn't prove that you didn't or did rape her.

Unfortunately all you can do is to sit back and wait for the outcome.

      .
Could racism not potentially be cited as a motive for making a false allegation? Obviously not based just on that one text but if further evidence of racist behaviour came to light...

No - you have to remember who is on the jury. These could be made of of racists, white, black, mixed-race......the 'race card' is too often thrown into the bonfire and it fails to impress these days.....

To play the race card it would have to be so blindingly obvious that this was a race incident. 99% of the time it is almost impossible to prove that a false allegation was made due to racism. There would be have to be more to it.

Yes, fair point, I see what you mean.
The accuser would just argue that the text was sent in jest

Plus people call each other names in jest all the time. I've heard Pakistani people call each other 'Paki' and I don't mind being called white honky! Or snowflake - I quite like that one actually!

i have been waiting for 3 months now to hear about the outcome of my case. the officer in charge of my case made an appointement to meet me at my house for bail extension, but because i was in town, i suggested to meet the officer at the police station instead. she told me that she has also asked for the medical record of my accuser and still waiting for it,. so she extended my bail to another 3 months, but she told me that she might wrote to me befor the bail date

i would like to know if it is a normal investigation procedure for the police to request a medical reords from your accuser aswell? why have the asked my accuser(she) to also provide her medical record?

i thought the investigation was only focus on the accuse

This is normal practice and is actually quite a positive thing when you haven't committed any wrongdoing.
