sorry you find yourself here ,but people on here have been in the same position and will give you as much advice as they can ,

the police taking your mobile and just placing you on bail is quite normal ,on the plus side if nothing happened ther will be no forensics to work against you .

the next step after the statements will be refering the case to the cps , this can take quite a while so you need to stay positive .
i found keeping busy was the only way i got through it .
        hope this helps

If James Fosta (Foster) is your real name - you do realise that this is a public forum so anybody, including the police, can read your posts - don't you?

            Hi James
Being re bailed is totally normal mate. The outstanding statements they refer to mean they have not got around to taking some witness statements yet and they need to do this before they can charge you or NFA you. Or if your case has been passed to the CPS they may have asked ghe police to take further witness statements. This is all perfectly normal and doesn't mean anything positive nor negative it's just proceedure. Unfortunately the authorities are in no rush to sort this out for you. It's a nightmare but nothing you can do but try to remain positive.

Yeah let the pigs read it. Let them read they are incompetent and in my case let a criminal away with peverting justice. I don't care either but my case is done and dusted and yours is not. I personally don't think they do read this but others say they do. So I guess a little prudence would go a miss. Also when u get nfa make sure they don't mess u around returning your property. It took nearly a month to get mine back and my co accused took nearly a year. So as nfa go in there demand it there and then or complain.

Apparently the police have told the forum owners to remove certain posts so we know they do read what is on here.

My concern is that if people identify themselves by their cases (going into detail with prosecution AND defence information) then the police could use that against them plus make use of any evidence they talk about on here by "checking" with the complainant.

Always best to be safe than sorry as they say......

What jurisdiction do the police have then. I assume the web site is hosted in the UK. Still unless a crime had been committed I cant see how the police can pull the posts.

I have an idea that they complied. I can't remember exactly what it was about but I know something happened........

Don't worry about it - we know the public can view which could well include the complainants as well of course......best to be safe......

Yes u make good point there. There are two sides to a story and genuine victims could het very upset to be called liars and worse when they are not.

aye well, its not like am doing anything wrong just needing support, and advice i guess. just pretty scary cause heard stories in newspaper when police have done silly stupid things,

                              for example:

i read in the newspaper about this woman accusing her ex of criminal damage cause he got her jumper a little bit dirty, and police were ringing him threatening to arrest him apparantly, or something like that.
