4 Years of Hell

It’s horrific. I have been through hell for almost 4 years put on remand for 5 days and eventually the case being thrown out of court. I don’t know how to get my life back. It has ruined me. I’ve tried to take my own life numerous times and the whole thing has made me very ill to the fact the doctor has given me 10 years to live.
I cannot cope. At all.
help me please

Hello and a warm welcome to the forum, though so sorry to read of your experiences.

I've moved your post to it's own thread (with hopefully an appropriate title?...if you prefer something else I can edit it) to give it more prominence though in fact the forum is very quiet these days as most folk seem to use the various FB groups.

It used to be a forum tradition to add some dancing bananas when members were NFA'd or won their case but this hardly fits with your frame of mind.

I'm hardly qualified to suggest a way forward for you and not certain how recently you won your case but can say that the trauma won't go away overnight as you might expect, but does eventually get less painful. I found it helped to chronicle the experience with no intention of publishing it anywhere but as a sort of catharsis.

I am very sorry to hear of your experiences. Sadly the forum is not as busy as it once was but there is a list of other organisations/ pages in our useful information section. It may or may not* help you to be in touch with others that have had similar experiences.

A visit to your doctor would be a good idea.
