By mentioning this I am not trivializing anyone's experience - my own FA situation is horrible and ongoing. I have to comment on this though. Noting his no-win situation as far as some people are concerned (how could a woman possibly lie and why would she) - aggressively so in many cases - as though even considering the possibility that she may be fibbing for vast amounts of money, was an affront to humanity. He has a lot to lose; and is in a situation of being unable to clear himself.
I think it's an object lesson; sadly, my former, unexamined pseudo- feminist views would have forced me to take her 'side' - my new, enlightened and better-educated self can see it for what it is.
Why is it so hard for people to accept that - Yes - women do get attacked....but yes - women do maliciously make it up for naiive, mental-illness or plain malicious reasons. In mitigation, many more people are prepared to accept that he is harmless than I would have expected.
If you're feeling unheard - get on the Facebook conversations and write some common sense - it may be cathartic.

and where girls aren't allowed to be educated do. If you have a heart for feminism I'm sure projects are always looking for missionaries to go and help. It really makes them shhh as they usually don't want to help anybody they want to villanize men.
