  • Appeal on 1st July (this Thursday)

If members (who I have previously been in touch with) are in the London on Thursday 1st July and would like to attend an appeal against conviction, please would you let RFLH know and she can forward details to me.

LS, I am on my laptop at the mo (main computer went up the shoot) and your email addy is not on here. If you are in London (I can't remember, being an old laydeeee) please email me so I have your addy and we can arrange a meet-up.

Sorry RF, I won't be in London that day. I did my monthly visit yesterday. I will of course be thinking of you all on the 1st.

Cheers - was hoping to put bums on seats. It wouldn't make any difference to the outcome but the appellant's wife would appreciate it if anyone can attend.

I'd love to offer some support but really don't think I can face a courtroom again, particularly this week (2 years since the first court case and a 4 years next week since it happened). Sorry.

Sorry to report that both appeals failed. The presiding judge read through all of the MASSIVE lies that the jury heard yet still went on to convict, but as they heard it then we cannot go behind the decision of the jury.

It makes me sick to know that some people who ARE guilty walk free from CA on a technicality yet when it is proved that nonsensical lies are told then innocent men remain behind bars - in this case until 2014.

I agree with you. It makes me sick that lies are believed these days, yet the truth is given short shrift.
