  • In the metro this morning

Hi not about false accusations but was reading the metro on the way to work today and saw an in brief article saying that the delay in police investigating sex abuse has allowed a man on bail to re-offend. Just wondered if incidents like this may cause police to move faster, and stop the long wait for those FA'd. It's on page 2-3 for those interested.

It probably won't make loads of difference as the Police will argue these types of cases particularly historical allegations take a long time to investigate. There does need to be a timeframe in which they have to charge as it's unfair it can drag on for two years or longer in some cases.

The link doesn't really go anywhere for me, apart to the Metro website.

It's the long wait for all, including the guilty. I have no sympathy for them, but for their families.
