She uses her son's illness as an excuse for trying to destroy her victim's life. Now how does that work, given she started lying about him in 2003, long before her son was born???

RF, I don't want to stick up for a FAer or get into an argument with you but she made her accusations last December when her son was alive, she just said it had taken place back in 2003. That' show it reads to me anyway.

Thanks for the point - it is ambiguous though. It could be read either way. And I'm an old lady - that's my excuse anyway and I'm sticking to it!!

Faircloth, a married mother living in North Carolina, did not expand on her son's ill health in the statement, but her Facebook posts show he is autistic and suffers from a kidney disease. He is awaiting a kidney transplant and remains in hospital.

Looks like the son is still alive, according to the paper - mind you it is the Daily Mail........

Her excuse is she was going through a bad time in her life. I've been through very bad times in my life but it hasn't caused me to make false allegations of rape. I am sure there are others on this board have had terrible terrible times and not done that. There is no excuse for what she did.

Just read all of that and the comments below it.
It goes to show that there is no rhyme or reason as to why people do the things they do.

She has no concern for the outcome or even herself, That energy would have been better focused on her child.
The only reason she is so apologetic is that she was outed on Facebook, imagine a time without it? he would have been going to court.
