my hustban has been put in prison on remand we are seperated but not devorced i have been told hes in a bad way at the moment he has told them he has no next of kin do i have any rights to no what is going on as his wife

As a general rule they wont tell you anything, however if the pair of you have children together, i would request the information under Article 8 of the human rights act- the right to a family life,say that the children want to know how their dad is. Good luck
