  • What can this mean?

Bro is due back in court in a couple of weeks now. But although the prosecution solicitor agreed last time in court when it was ajourned that they would supply the photos bros solicitor asked for & the 'new' witnesses video (which he has seen) they haven't supplied them. So apparently bros solicitor is in court next week at a pre trial meeting to find out why these haven't been produced.
Can this hold things up even further?
Apparently bro doesn't need to go next week, just his solicitor. Is this common?

Very common. The Crown drag their feet too often (too many false allegation cases being sent to court of course).

The trial I am helping with - the Crown have been tardy and although the trial date is set for July we are putting in an application for adjournment because we have not yet had full disclosure - which means the defence statement can't be written yet.

    Welcome to British "Justice".

Without knowing the details I cannot possibly say. The best person to ask is the solicitor.
