  • After it’s all over....

    So
It’s been a long time since I was here and I just wanted to say that there is life after false accusations!
We were lucky in the end, my hubby was NFA’d in the end.
The trouble with the the FAs family continued though, in particular her father who is proper nuts!
Eventually my Dad ended up getting a restraining order through the courts due to the behaviour of said “gentleman”, who subsequently ended up jailed for a time.
The restraint order covers my Dad primarily, but also states “all members of family” so that includes us. No direct or indirect contact - INDEFINITELY.
So life’s been rather pleasantly quiet.
You can put it behind you.
    You can move on.
The best advice I can give is, don’t give it legs.
It’s false. Don’t protest too much.
Fight when you need to, but let go of what you can’t control.
    Never give up hope.
I hope to inspire others to hang on in there!!
    Big hugs
    YoH

Fantastic! You have have come out stronger and in control. Thank you for all the support you have put back into the forum too over the years. I think your courage in standing up to the FAs is laudable and I hope more victims will consider following your example. Many FAs demonstrate sociopathic behaviours and some commit crimes (that maybe unconnected with the false allegation) and it is well worth collecting evidence and making a complaint so that they are obliged to take responsibility for their poor behaviour.

            Best wishes for the future

Moved back to the Midlands last year, and much happier here. Working on yet another appeal of course, and got another one awaiting the Single Judge for Leave to Appeal (or not). I will be opening up the one Facebook group so that it is visible to people searching for help. There will be the usual rules of course..... Let me know if you need me to do any internet research for you, if you think it might help. x

Hi RF & great to get yours & YoH's update!

Regarding signatures, when the forum was updated by the new 'tech' admin, the signature feature initially slipped through the net and was later reinstated so there was a brief period when no-one had any signatures; however on your two posts above in this thread I can see a link to PACSO, so hopefully this is your new one?

EDIT to add that when I first posted this reply my signature had also disappeared ......I then checked in my profile/settings that it was still there and clicked on 'save' and it then reappeared,,,,,hmmm
