If anyone can cope with the worst situations its a Mother, because when things go wrong that's who we all turn too, but at times we do loose track of the fact that Mothers are human too and are also in need of support,
There are Mothers who like yourself found them selves here, you are not alone, and I am sure you will find lots of helpful support and good advice, stay strong and positive not only for yourself but for your family, and if you need an outlet we will be here to assist as best as we can.hugging

Hi, not the mother of accused but feel like it sometimes.
We have been know to call him are third teenager, despite the fact he is in his 60s.

I know what you mean about not thinking about anything else from morning until night. We have had a death in the family recently and that has been the only thing to bring some peace to my head.

It seems some of us are stuck on a long old road. All we can do is stick together and hope justice is done in the end.

                    Sending you hugs

                      Hi Wonderwoman12
So very sorry to hear of your sad news, hope ur all getting there - it does feel as tho were in mourning if am being honest- ive so many emotions goin on n on - i feel so utterly useless that I can protect him from this utter **** goin on in our lives at the moment - I'd give anything to make it all go away.
Finding it very hard to carry on as normal, and I know we have to we have no other choice but too, but it's hard.

                        I know.

You just have to hang in there. Take it one day at a time. If you need something to help you with stress, your GP will understand. I am on pills for the first time in my life. I found out my GP was as **** off with these false allegations as the rest of us. He has had several people under his care that have been accused of things.

Try listening to singing to music. It does stop you thinking for a bit. Someone on here said about it and it really does work.

Stay strong for that son of yours

Hi Pixie71 - welcome to the forum and really sorry you had to find us.
The rollercoaster of emotions you are feeling are "normal" for people in your and our situation. The time waiting is a living hell - I'm 5 months in but not been arrested or charged yet!!!!
My GP's too have been very helpful and sympathetic, as has the Community Mental Health Team - the allegations against me (historical) have really messed with my head and I'm on max dose fluoxetine and take diazepam everywhere with me. They do help me..... Some other people use herbal/homeopathic remedies......
Sparks is right - you need to make sure you have support for yourself so that you can give your son the support he needs...
Hopefully you have a solicitor and barrister team who are specialists in representing people who have been falsely accused?
Keep posting and we'll support you all we can

                            Be strong
