hi i need help and want to fight these miscarriages of justice

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Reading your reply on the other thread it seems you are in the position of having supported your partner up to and through his trial only to see the jury rule against him.

Firstly, well done for supporting him and continuing to do so; this will have meant the world to him, and will help him cope in the days ahead.

Secondly, you in your turn need support and there are members here who have been in your situation; they will at least be able to relate to and sympathize with your feelings. (though the Introductary Forum is absolutely the correct one for you to make your first post in, ironically it is not the forum the regular users go straight to, hence you having had no other replies so far)

Finally you said you are looking for help to fight this miscarriage of justice; as your partner has been convicted, the only way forward is an appeal against this conviction. I don't know enough about the appeals procedure to be properly able to advise you but we do have a specialist as a member; she's usually very busy but hopefully will read your post soon.

        Hi Keri

I have been exactly where you are now, so you have my full sympathy and support.
If you feel you can, post a thread in the Falsely Accused section with a few details (nothing identifying) and people will be along to support you very soon.

          hi

thankyou for your message. if i take ages to reply its because this site is hard to fathom how to use,or maybe i was not meant to be a brunette lol. this has to be the hardest thing ive ever had to ,and my life as i thought was complex as it was.Infact i reckon i could fill the take a break mag weekly with just my own life experiences. It is nice to know there are people who understand,on the other hand i would rather no one else have to experience this x

Keri, truth is indeed stranger than fiction, when you've been through the mill all the TV soaps seem very commonplace.

The good thing about this site is that you can unload your feelings without the embarrasment of knowing you're going to continually bump into us at the local supermarket (but still don't divulge any identifying details about yourself)
