  • Christmas 2025

May I wish all forum members the best Christmas possible for their particular circumstances and very best wishes for 2026.

Grateful thanks to all who have contributed to the forum and supported others with sympathy and advice with especial thanks to Peter1975 for sharing his knowledge of the legal system.

Finally a huge vote of thanks to 'Webmoo', site creator and owner, who is supporting the site financially (as it's still up and running!); since its creation twenty or so years ago(?) numerous folk have good reason to be thankful for this resource.

      Hello Casehardened and Peter,

      Long time no 'speak'.

I hope you are well, and I was glad to see that you posted on Daftmoo for Christmas 2025.

I hope this reaches you after all this time. I have only JUST been able to gain access to Daftmoo after several years of trying, changing my password and all sorts. I couldn’t even set up a new profile. :-( . I kept trying to sign in but was locked out for some reason. But today - Bingo!!

I see you are still posting occasionally and it's good to see that the site is still being used, if only for reference as there isn't much in the way of new posts, if anything. I still can't make head or tail of how it all works so you'll not be surprised to hear that rather than struggle with it, I've been active on Facebook, X and other things. I write a lot now for a blog run by an academic, Dr Michael Naughton of Bristol University and am a director and committee member for FACT an organisation that's been going as long as Daftmoo.

Here's a link if you'd like to see what he gets up to -

Home | Empowering the Innocent (ETI)

My husband and I have also been building our own website, designed to counter all the 'false allegations are vanishingly rare' claims that get put about. There are lots of prosecutions for perverting the course of justice, but they are generally barely reported upon and then only in local news so we are gathering them together in one place. That, together with the fact that a wrongful conviction for any crime is a false allegation by the state, we are hoping that people will see that it's not only sexual crime that suffers from the 'false allegation' phenomenon.

Here's a link for that too, though it's only a baby website and only convers the tip of the iceberg so far -

      www.falselyaccuseddatabase.com

So, I just wanted you to know that I haven't fallen of the face of the planet - yet - and I'm glad to see that you haven't either. I haven't seen Peter on any of the social media pages but perhaps he uses another name.

I do hope that you're well and reply here.

i tried sending an email to Casehardened but it was rejected too. I just hope that getting in today isn’t an aberration and I get locked out again. We shall see!!

With very best wishes to you both.

      Felicity

        Hello Felicity!

Great to hear from you, although I am sorry you had trouble logging in. I have read a couple of your articles actually, excellent work and it's great to have a link to more of them. I'm afraid I don't keep up to speed with things much any more and I'm not really on social media but I do check twitter and the odd legal blog from time to time. It's rather late but I'll check out your website soon. I may still have all of the falsely accused archive from the old PAFAA forum if that is any help and Helga hasn't already provided it.

Daftmoo is still here (at least for now) but apparently now buried under 5-8 pages of solicitors touting their wares thanks to google so we don't get much traffic and that suits me fine! It might look fancy but it hasn't changed much, everything is in the same place although we now have a glitch and the software will delete everything you type after using a pound sign. You have been warned!

We actually had a chance to break out some dancing bananas just recently, a Scottish case. I'll post a link if you fancy adding some.

Your wise counsel and kind words are always welcome here and have been sorely missed so I hope you can continue to log in.

        Kindest regards

        Peter.

Way hay!!! I got back in again!!

It's lovely to hear from you Peter, and yes please, I'd love to have any links from PAFFA or anything else that you think I might find interesting/useful. What is your name on X and I'll make sure I follow you - or do you just lurk there? :-) Thanks for alerting me to the glitch in the software here. I don't blame you for not keeping up to speed with everything so much any more. It can get exhausting, and though I keep saying I'll slow down, new projects keep popping up that grab my attention. I've been invited to talk again at the FACT conference in May about the database website and in the absence of anyone else willing, I've committed to organising an IFAD (International Falsely Accused Day) event up here in Scotland. We moved to a tiny village north of the border when my husband finally got to retire, and though he had a stroke in 2023, (and made an extraordinary recovery), we don't seem to have slowed down, much if at all.

I'm glad that you've come across some of my writing and approve.

I'll check out Batmother's post, and see if I can hand over a bunch or two of bananas.

Thank you for the kind words.

          All the best,

          Felicity

            Hello Felicity,

Wonderful to hear from you and great that you're still carrying the 'Mongolian Warriors' banner and creating a website to beat the drum for the falsely accused. This forum is still the first that I view when I switch the computer on in the mornings although I'm quite relieved that there's not much activity nowadays as I'm equally inactive due to increasing years and the attendant issues

My email was set up purely for this site and when I investigated Yahoo said they'd deactivated it due to lack of use; guess that's why yours bounced back (and I probably wouldn't have seen it anyway as that email address isn't linked to my usual one....my Admin title doesn't reflect my capabilities )

Anyway glad you were able to get back on board and great to see you posting again,

            Best wishes,

            Ernie

Thanks, Ernie and for explaining about the email. You'll be seeing more of me. :-)
