i got my a level results...

and i am going to uni! got ABB and my offer was BBB so exceeded my offer. god knows how i managed those grades. my teachers were suprised too, especially since i did better on papers on topics i had not been in lessons to learn! not complaining though. just got to work on getting that degree now. and eventually a phd but thats a long way off. better not get ahead of myself.
my mum cried when i told her. its been such a rough year for me so she was prepared for the worst, as was i.

Well done you !!! Im sure you will luv Uni its an experience everyone should have in life.

If one wasnt an alcoholic and druggie before, then you should be by the time they leave hehe but of course thats all wives tales and a myth cos its usually seriously hard work - depending on the course you want to do and the options you choose.

Get yourself into halls for the first year so you get to know everyone and its plain sailing from there, all good clean fun !! (did I really say that)?

But its a great chance to meet lots of wonderful people and try and further your education with some good old socialising. I expect you will become a regular at the Union bars if only cos there cheap.

Going to Goldsmiths so wont be in halls but will stay in my hostel. union bars could be dangerous... i'm just so glad i will be able to do work i find really works my mind and pushes me. not to mention the fact i love my subject which will hopefully keep me motivated.

Uni is great fun and you'll learn a lot, both in and out of the lecture theatres! It can be hard, but with ABB you'll have no problems at all. Really well done!

Sorry it's taken me so long to get here - I've just moved house with all the stress and turmoil that is involved with that - and I am using mobile broadband - not impressed with it as it keeps disappearing!

Well done friday - let's hope you go on to do something with the qualifications you get at Uni. Make new friends, stay safe and try to enjoy life - this is the beginning of the rest of your life!!!

Thats brilliant news I hope you have treated yourself to something nice to reward yourself for all the hard work and congrats on getting into uni.

Uni is good and its all about what you make it. I went to UCL and I loved it and being interested in the subject will make the time fly so enjoy every moment even though there is a lot of hard work involved. I am sure you will do well, you have that fighting spirit. and if its any cosolation I had a breakdown in my second year at uni and found things very difficult due to past issues and I still got a good degree it just means having to work that bit harder than the rest its a case of trying to keep focused at the most challengging times.

Massive pat on the back and I will have a drink for you later.. x
