You really need to get the sol to start making representations to alter your curfew to enable you to get to the court at the appropriate time.

I meant - how long is it to trial?

Curfews can change once the trial is underway, or just before.

I've heard of Edward Hayes but have no idea as to how good they are. They may well be excellent but I don't know.

If you feel confident in your defence team then they must be doing something right

No, Public Funding will not allow for a QC unless it is hugely serious - such as multiple complainants and there are co-defendants. Even then, due to the savage cuts even that may now be taken away.

They were the solicitors given to me by the police. Have you heard of them by any chance?

My barrister does seem good and I ideally want to keep her as she has been working on the case throughout the duration - and I also do not think I am going to be able to get a QC etc on legal aid - or do you know if this is possible?

My solicitors are Edward Hayes and they are ranked in chambers and partners etc, and are adamant Catherine Roberts is good, but as you say there is not much information to judge from!

Never heard of her and cannot find anything about her apart from the fact she is a self employed barrister. I am following her on Twitter now. Hopefully something will show up on there. If she specialises in false allegations there is nothing online that I can find to suggest it.

Thanks rights fighter. I have told my solicitors again and again but it seems like my barrister (who is very good) is the only one working on my case.

Solicitor/barrister should be able to make representations to allow for this. Have you asked them about this?

The court i am dealing with never give out hearing times until 4pm the day before the hearing - is this normal?

They know i need to travel and will find it hard to be there before 9.30am but they just dont care - all they say is if you dont attend you will probably be put into prison - vexed much!!!
