  • Falsely accysed of rape...Cps advice to police what to expect now

Hi all a bit of background i was falsly accused last may and was asked to attend the police station to answer questions in june. Went for the questionning and was cautioned. Since then it has been back and forth to cps waiting for a decision. In august social services stopped me seeing my kids till allegation was sorted. In decembwr i finally heard from police (first time since june) to say it was still with cps who wanted more evidence to make a decision but jever asked to question me again. Got a call today to say cps have gave the police advice and can i go to an appointment at the police station on friday. From people experience what should i be expecting? Dont know if theyve advised to re question me, drop the case or charge me. I asked on the phone and the officer said they wouldnt telle over the phone incase i had any questions. Help advice needed going out of my mind with worry and what ifs....

Just want to be able to move in see my kids after 7 months and move foward.

Take a solicitor - one who knows what they are doing. Which area is it?

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Did you have a solicitor at the previous interview; if so ask them to ring the OIC on your behalf...they will be more likely to disclose the purpose for your forthcoming visit to them (and of course if you are to be questioned again they would need to attend anyway)
