Sorry to labour the point, however no-one would wish to give you incorrect advice, but could you clarify if you are currently on bail or have been charged with any of the allegations.

(My understanding of street bail is that it is reserved for minor offences but still requires eventual attendance at a specified time and police station, so effectively is the same)

It's one or the other: if you are currently not on bail or been charged or summonsed with any offence, you are basically, as OMG says, free to go and try to pick up the pieces of your life.

Have u spoken to someone higher up then the oic , as CH says don't think they have a lot on u and to keep street bailing for what u have been accused off doesn't sound rite, as they are making ur life so hard make sure they are doing there job properly. Don't mean to be asking the same thing over again but just want to make sure have the facts straight

        R.e going through hell !!!!!'

In reply to your comments currently I am not on bail or have I ever been charged the reasons mainly put on bail sheet was awaiting cps advice and allegations of historic rape ,I continue to be no longer on bail not charged but still being held in limbo by the cps and their incompetency as for going higher than the oic I can never ever get hold of her so going higher up sounds like a better option but I feel that they will just say you need to talk to the oic !!!!!

Thanks for the clarification; you are effectively then a free man!

I am still wondering if the person who originally made the accusation against you has appealed the decision to drop the case (a recent change in government policy has allowed this) and that is why the CPS are looking at it again.

I can't understand why bail has stopped, if you have not been charged or NFA'd - No Further Actioned.

One of the members on here was never arrested or bailed, and has been waiting over 20 months. The file went to the CPS about six weeks ago - it has taken that long for the police to send it to them.

However, she was never bailed as I said. In your case I can't understand why you would be bailed, and then the bail stop but you still wait to hear.

Your duty sol should be able to explain if this is the correct procedure or if there has been an abuse of process.

                R.E going through hell

Also I must add that my partner was not told the reason I had been arrested nor even questioned because surely if they had,had any concerns they would have investigated further as one of my own children was of the same age as the alleged victim ,I find this very unusual regarding the nature of the allegations ,my solicitor is chasing it up but is basically saying that the cps can take however long they wish to decide in my opinion he has not really did as much as he should be to get to the conclusion of this charade !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The duty solicitor can't hurry CPS up or do anything to make things go faster. He's only there for advice and to attend the interview. Anything else he does is goodwill - he has no control over the CPS whatsoever.

I appreciate you are angry and frustrated but it's not the duty sol you should be angry and frustrated at. It's the system. Since Savile et al, people have been making allegations, some true and some false ad infinitem. CPS is clogged with these cases.

As rf has said ur Sol can not do anymore then they have, you have not been charged. I do find it strange that they have not spoken to any of ur other children/step children coz it they thought it to be true or thought u to be anything like that ( I'm am in no way saying u are) then surly u would have done the same to them.
Has ur step childs mum got a new partner/ did u break all contact with the step child, does ur step child's mother want u back?

                      r.e going through hell

I do know that he cannot do much my sol but I am very frustrated as you can imagine ,in regards to my ex partner I believe that all this manifested itself after I refused to sign over my biological children who I had with my ex partner to her and her new husband the reason being was that at the the time I was just starting grieving for my mother who had just passed away due to cancer so I was in no state to lose my children too ,but shortly after I had refused a year down the line I was arrested for this alleged allegation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FA in OMG words means False Accuser.

                            PAS = Parental Alienation Syndrome

There are several blogs on the subject of PAS and also support groups. If you are on Twitter just type #PAS and you should find some of them

                            http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/...ation-children

#PAS is more widely recognised in the USA and Australia although courts here are waking up to it....

I've just typed "Parental Alienation" into Facebook and there are lots of groups out there, some in the UK

Thanks again for your continuing advice and friendliness to all .The false accuser in this case is my stepson but I do have two children with his mother ,I have never thought of parent alienation syndrome but as he is not my son I doubt that could be possible !!!!
