Further Information

The Friday Before

For anyone coming on Friday, we will be going out for a meal and a drink in the evening. Please Let us know if you are likely to want to come.

For those we know are coming on Friday. When you have arrived at Coventry railway station, or when you have got settled in your hotel, give us a ring and we will either come and meet you, arrange for someone else to do the same, or give you directions to us.

In the evening we will go into town to Wetherspoons about 7:30pm. For those who are already in Coventry by then, please can you make your way to our house and we will go en mass. We are quite happy to leave the pub to pick up anyone else who comes so don't be worried about phoning.

If you are arriving before 3pm and have a bit of spare time, we are having a rehersal at the church at 3pm and would welcome any extra bodies. (Those who need to be there, we have spoken to)

The Honeymoon Departure on Sunday

We are leaving for our honeymoon on the sunday morning at 9:10am from Pool Meadow bus station (right in the middle of the map) (and yes we know it's a rail tour but there aren't any trains to Birmingham) if anyone fancies coming and waving us off.

General Information

This is all the stuff you might be wondering about that we haven't got anywhere else to put, please keep an eye on it as we will keep adding stuff.

Can everyone pray to the sun god please, the BBC weather forecast isn't very good for saturday :-)Added 30/7
Due to the scanner giving up the ghost, photos of the hen and stag nights and possibly photos of the big day, will be a while getting onto the website. Be patient, they are coming. :-)Added 28/7
The Order of Service has now been completed and is available on the website at The order of service page. We have finalised it with Father Tony and Sacred Heart Folk Group (who are singing) so we are unable to incorporate any other changes or suggestions now, sorry.Added 27/7/03

We have been asked by several people about the dress code. It is a very simple one:
Wear whatever you will feel happy and comfortable wearing!
If you wish to wear a hat, please do. If not, don't bother! If you wish to wear a long, very glamorous dress, great - No one is going to complain about women looking nice (especially not Phil!). If you wish to wear a shirt and smart-ish jeans, fine!
If you want to know the colour scheme, the bride will be wearing a cream dress, and the bridesmaids will be in dark red dresses. The decor will be predominantly dark red and gold.
Really though, we don't mind at all what people wear - just come in something you feel happy in. Thanks!

Updated 25/6

Button holes will be provided (using a knife!) to family members. If you are not a family member but would like one, please let us know and we'll make sure we have sufficiant. (Ok, we'll use carnations instead...)Added 20/6

There are severe problems with the railways over the weekend (i.e Coventry railway station is closed!), please make sure you check the details of this on our directions page. Anyone who needs meeting at a railway station or needs to get back to a railway station (including ones other than Coventry,) please place a message on the forum and we'll try and work something out. Also, if you are driving to the wedding, have space in your car and are passing near a station (even if it's not one near Coventry), please place a message on the forum that may help others. Thanks!

Please note: These pages are being deliberately left virtually as they were at the time of the wedding, to preserve the good website we put together at the time, for posterity more than anything else! Whilst we are endeavouring to keep links etc up to date, if replacements can't be easily found, the link will simply be removed. This is why some things may say they are links but are links no longer. Also, some of the information given here may, therefore, be out of date.
