Jo's Hen Night

We went to Comedy Club in Nottingham on Sat 14th June.

We went as animals

With Jo wearing a and plates as expected with a 'bride to be' rosette as well'

We had very nice food with a selection of oriental feast, deep south, Mediterranian or vegtarian, all served on trays like airline food, and cocktails. What better way to start off an evening.

Then we had some comedy. There were 3 comedians

1. Tony Burgess: From Manchester, he was rather rude, swearing a lot and mostly making jokes about his wife and other women. We weren't terribly impressed.
2. Craig hill: A very funny gay Scotsman. His show focused on the amusement that really crap girl and boy bands provide for us and his singing of their songs (slightly altered) provided good comedy without offending anyone.
3. Simon B Cotter: A Canadian comedian, therefore he did the usual jokes about the US which were quite amusing. The rest of his stuff was OK but not brilliant.

The evening was compered by the unbelievably annoying Smug Roberts

After the comedy, the tables were cleared away and we danced 'til dawn (well 1am actually) There was a huge selection of music, including everyone's favourite

I (Jo) had a really good time, thank you to everyone else who came.
