Presents We Would Like

This page has been written so that family and friends aren't spending time scratching their heads going, "what shall we buy them for christmas/birthday etc?"

• Book: 'A shortage of Engineering', published by St.Martin's Press and written by Robert Grossbach.
• CD Album: Razorlight by Razorlight
• CD Album: Dynamite by Jamiroquai
• Book: Wintersmith by Terry Pratchett (The latest discworld book)

The usual suspects:

• Cartoon Socks!
• Cartoon ties!
• Very dry white wine
• Rum! I'm a good fan of rum now...
• Chocolate: Ideally, dairy milk. Pure, nothing added, rich, cadburys milk chocolate. Yummy!
• Marzipan (Definately only a Phil thing though - Jo doesn't like it)
• Bitter! Good bottled bitter - I am a good fan of 'proper' bitters, ideally odd ones away from the usual few that you find in the pubs. 'Real Ale' and similar, although I'm slighlty lesser a fan of IPA.

• Red or Rose wine (I only realy like white)
• Sheridans - I do like it, but my supplies are currently well stocked...
• Lager - I can't stand the stuff!
• Cows! Yes, I know I'm cow mad, yes I know that the website address features the word 'moo', yes I know that my bookcrossing ID is MrBigMoo and Jo's is daftmoo, and yes, I know that this website features a cow gallery that shows how much I like cows. Lastly, yes, I know that saying this is totally futile as I've said it every year for the last 3 or 4 years now, but please, please:
  No more cows!!!!
  Or, if you really, really, really have to, not too many...

Since I am finding it difficult to know exactly what i want, and because I like surprises, i am going to write mostly a general wishlist and just have a small number of specifics.

Special orders:

• Radio 4 CDs: Just a minute, The Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy RADIO SHOW (not the audio books)
• I have a small (approx 6cm high) round glass vase that I would like some small glass flowers for

I always like books. For book suggestions please have a look at my bookcrossing profile - "Books I would Like", where I have listed my likes and dislikes in books.

I also like:

• Hair accessories - especially bobbles and ruffles
• Jewellery, but not ear rings
• Fair trade/Traidcraft stuff for the home
• Unusual food - jams, chutneys, biscuits etc

• Scented candles - we still have too many of these from previous years
• Bath bombs - please no more - I have enough to blow up the entire bath and bathroom :-)
• Make up, as I don't use the stuff
• Wine, as I don't like it

• 'Black Adder' - We own series 1 on video. We'd like the rest, although the whole lot on DVD would also be good... :-)
• DVD set of all the 'Indiana Jones' films
• DVD set of the 'Porridge' series (all of them)

• A membership to the chocolate tasting club. We got given a 6-box subscription to this as a wedding present - it was superb! They are not cheap but they are very nice. NB: They get eaten slowly as they are very much savoured, so please set it to one box per 2 months at most, possibly one box per 3 or 4. Thanks!!! :-)
