No wonder Police IT Forensic's has a problem

I just landed on this story from the Guardian. It explains a lot about why there issues with IT forensics as in Sinkingfast's case. How can the allow outsourcing IT Forensics as would this not be a breach of privacy. I would ask everyone to question their OIC and ask who did the work in their cases.
