  • All rape cases to be 'urgently' reviewed over evidence disclosure

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-42841346

Hi all, so as those who have seen my posts know this applies to me massively, is this a media front or are these cases really going to get reviewed as a matter of urgency?

Nice one, you got there just before I was going to post this.

I am assuming this means me also as my alleged crime is sexual assault by touching which they deem ‘very serious’.

I imagine this most likely is a media front however we can all hope. Alison Saunders needs putting on trial for perverting the course of justice, words cannot express my hatred for that woman... Some of the things she has said in the past make my blood boil

      HI Sinking Fast

i would get in touch with your legal team and ask them to make contact with the CPS to review your case, if this hasn't already been done. Keep asking for updates also

        OK

I am not a glass half empty guy but I see a problem with all the cases being reviewed. That is, unless that recruit additional staff, it means ongoing cases will be delayed as the current staff spend their time reviewing cases. My file sat on a desk for two months before being allocated to a prosecutor so I know they don't care about being speedy.
