  • Advice on solicitor/barrister - London Area

    Hello,

I have been following the forum for a long time and it has been a great source of support and information. I have been in pre-charge limbo for a long time on a false accusation.
Unfortunately I have just received a summons to appear in court to be charged with sexual assault. It's devastating news.

Would anyone have advice on solicitors and/or a barrister they can recommend? At this stage I do not know if I would qualify for legal aid so I am looking at both legal aid and private.

Sorry you find yourself here underarmour but remember that all is not lost, a charge does not mean a conviction.

The earnings threshold for legal aid is pretty high, although you may have to pay contributions.

I would heartily recommend Freemans in London, they have great solicitors and barristers and an excellent track record whoever takes on your case.

Speak to Harvey Fox and he will explain legal aid.

The most recommended private solicitor is Chris Saltrese.
