  • Have you been falsely accused? Would you be willing to speak about your experiences on television?

Tell Vanessa is a London-based current affairs discussion show, featuring an in-studio discussion surrounding a current, socially-relevant topic. The programme is broadcast on Sky channel 212 / Freeview 161, with monthly viewing figures between 6 - 16 million.

In our current series, we wish to look at false allegations, and the devastating impact these can have on those accused.

In light of this, if you've been falsely accused and have since been acquitted, and would be happy to talk about your experiences on camera (pre-recorded, not live) please get in touch at: georgina@tellvanessa.com

Apologies - I'm not sure which programme you're referring to.

It's not a programme. It's an online "media service" that promotes the #IBelieveHer brigade.

The issue that you are likely to have Gina is that so very often once someone is acquitted they are keen to move on with their lives and can drift off of the forums.

Personally I would love to get involved but have not yet been acquitted.

The "other" issue you have is in your wording using the term acquitted - this infers that you are after someone who has been through a full court process and found not guilty. There are indeed a number of such people on here, but there are a great many more others who are on bail / under investigation for months and years on end who go through all the pain but never see the inside of a courtroom (someone might correct me but), about 85-90% of accusations never progress to trial but ruin peoples lives anyway.

Good luck with it and do please post on here the airing date so we can watch

I understand and suspected this may be the case - many thanks for your response and for confirming this.

Okay, thank you for the information, I can confirm that Tell Vanessa is unrelated to this.

I must apologise - it's "Rebecca Television" I was referring to. God alone knows why it is called that. I do know that they were heavily involved with PALLIAL and similar cases and basically cannot believe that false allegations happen.

                    Very sorry!
