    Dear RF

You indicated you had a gentlemen on an IPP sentence & yet the medical evidence did not support the conviction that was handed down.

Is there anything that can be done to assist?

    Anything?

I ask as it appears an injustice has been executed by the "Crown"

    Are avenues currently being explored?

    Kindest regards
    Mr B

Appeal failed as the jury heard that evidence yet still convicted. Nothing can be done.....

There is a judgement available? Can I have a look? Curious & incredulous as to why.

I don't think it was "reported" so not available online so I cannot publish it in it's entirety here. However, here is a screenshot of the relevant part of it.

Although the judgment only refers to a few times, her statement was that it "happened" several times a week.

I appreciate that it is difficult to believe.

I do not doubt your veracity. I struggle though to see the logic / emotional reasoning deployed to convict "beyond reasonable doubt" i.e. to be sure.

Generally when things did not make sense in my recent past (since being FA'd) it was because there were material facts missing. Throw them on the "table" & like a painful jigsaw it starts to make sense.

There must have been a report. Criminal Justice must be seen to be done & hence there is always a judgement (written) IIRC.

For the avoidance of doubt this is not a "dig" at you or anyone. I appreciate there are some things that cannot be shared. However I understood (perhaps wrongly) all criminal cases were available to be reviewed.

How can this decision stand - even post appeal? Locked up for life?

Was there any news coverage whatsoever? If Rough Justice was still being made would this be a candidate - I hope so.
          Puzzled & troubled.

Many are not allowed to be reported to the public due to the nature of the convictions. If they are reported, due to being made case law or of some importance they generally initialise the def and complainant's names.

The link below will take you to reported cases that are allowed onto a public database....... this is not on that database, I checked before adding the screenshot.

I would like to think that if I ever have to be on a jury I would be more inclined to be impartial due to being on the receiving end of people's lies.
Before finding this "world" I don't think I was as impartial.
Unfortunately the general consensus is to believe the victim.
People's eyes need to be opened to the possibility that people lie about these matters!
I was totally naive before this happened.
Now, I will be listening to every detail and making sure the other members of the jury hear everything said.
If there's anything positive to come out of being falsely accused, then it's the fact that I will never judge anyone unless I've seen it with my own eyes!!
              People need educating!!

Until or unless a person has attended one of these trials or appeals, and seen with their own eyes the dirty tricks the police and/or CPS play to get their convictions, many people would not believe it.

One of my cases: it was only when the mother hit her 8 year old with a belt shouting at him "what is wrong with your bum? What did B do to your bum?" ....that he came out with allegations that actually fitted what his mother did when he had constipation and threadworms.

He alleged that B put a "pin" in his bum 20 times. He alleged that he gave him a drink that was orange in colour and tasted of lemon and made him drowsy. That was the allegation.

He drew the "pin" and it looked exactly like a tube of haemorrhoid cream (even curled up at the end) with cream on the tip of the "pin".

His mother said in her statement she gave him a medication called Fulcin (for threadworm as I recall).

Mr Google tells me that this was made up of red and yellow powders making it orange, and tasted like lemon.

When this was put to the appeal court the presiding judge said (of the beating that elicited the allegations) "that is completely irrelevant".

This is what we are up against. Juries that do not listen or have no common sense and appeal judges who are completely out of touch with the real world and who cannot or refuse to accept that the system is wrong.
