      Wonderful news

Hi so pleased for them. They fully deserve it. Just shows justice does prevail. Gives hope to all in this awful, position of a FA.
OH had Chris Saltrese and Tania Griffith at Trial and also got Unanimous NG. I cant recommend them highly enough. In Tanias words which I will never forget 'the Devil is in the Detail'. That is the truest statement Ive ever heard which is why its crucial to be prepared before trial get a solicitor and
Barrister you have confidence with and a timeline with everything to defend yourself against FA.
      So pleased for them

              Which method

It would be great to learn his approach/method that gets a NG in 10 mins

Thats a great result, so pleased for the accused

It's not about his methods. It's about how the evidence is put to the jury by Counsel, how the complainant performs in the witness box, how def performs in the witness box, and the amount of evidence put. When it's a case of word against word the whole case spins on credibility alone, nothing else.

I attended a trial in 2012 where, after the NG verdicts the foreman of the jury came over and told us that they had realised she was lying from the time the complainant opened her mouth.

Sometimes it can be that quick.

Lets say if its an alleged child abuse case, Am I right in saying that the accuser has the comfort of a video link and doesnt have the inside court pressures?

                  Thanks

All complainants in sexual cases have the right to give evidence via a video link and a trial to allow this to be pre recorded is also to be extended.

While this may remove some of the pressures of being in court it is also thought to disconnect them emotionally from the jury.

The introduction of video links led to a fall in convictions and unless the complainants are very young, prosecution will always try to persuade them to appear live in the courtroom.
