  • contact with accuser

Guys just wondering is it illegal to be in any contact whatsoever with the person who has falsely accused me? It is so frustrating that I cannot stand in front of them and call them a liar straight to their face. One thing I did to release some anger was I wrote a letter to such accuser where I wrote down my disgust and clearly stated what did happen that night, no abusive or threatening parts in it. Do ye think if I showed letter to police beforehand they might let me send it to them? or would this be a good idea.. HELP

Have you been charged? Are you on bail?

I'd say in general it's not a good idea as it could be seen as you trying to intimidate the accuser even although you know that's not the case.

I know it's hard and you want answers as to why they have done this but it's better to let your defence (if it's at that stage) fight your corner in this instance. Don't give anyone any ammo to use against you.

In a rush, but I think you are best to stay well clear of the accuser

        Don't do it.

I'm thinking that one of the bail conditions is to not contact her or her witnesses. Even if it is not, can you imagine the can of worms that would be opened? She could accuse you of intimidation, even if the words in the letter are not intimidating. Just sending it is enough to add another charge to the list, should there be one.

I can sympathize I'd love to tell my OH's FA the devastating impact on out lives. But I honestly think it would make you look extremely guilty. Also as much as you feel better briefly you are playing right into her hands, your FA has done this for attention, reaction, sympathy? You giving her all of the above by contacting her.
If you get on with life the best you can and show her you haven't stopped, working socialising living life because of her lies, I bet it will drive her crazy!!

DO NOT DO IT!!!! I know how hard it is. I see dad's accuser every day, walked past her, drove past her. My sister came face to face with her in a lift at work. However tempted you are do not say anything to them
