We have just been through everything you are describing. Its disgusting how it can get this far. My case went to trial, I thought I was going to prison for a long time.

I can only echo that of other members on this forum. Stay strong, have your family around you always and remember that even if you have a glimmer of hope, even if it is only 1% you have to hang on in there.

My case was 3 days but went 4 , don't be surprised if it drags out. I mentally prepared myself for the entire week I suggest you do the same and anything less is a bonus.

There will be lots of ups and downs during the trial. Tell your son to hold his head high, easier said than done when your in there I know this. But you have to believe the truth will shine through.

Hi everyone...I had a long conversation with Chris after being given his number on here what a great guy! In the end we used a barrister closer to home...3 day trial which by being on this site prepared me to understand the way the court works....it's over its finally over full acquittal in less than an hour...the elation I thought we would feel isn't here we are very flat very down...I'm hoping it will pass...hang in there everyone who is going through this terrible thing this site was so helpful to me I'm not sure we would have got through without it...thank you.

Congratulations on getting through this horrible, horrible ordeal. The verdict isn't really the end, it takes time to recover, and I hope you feel better soon. Here are some bananas to make you smile -

Please consider popping in here occasionally to support people still going through it. It helps no end to hear from people who have gone through the process completely. In any event, my very best wishes for the future.

I know all too well that a NG doesn't feel like justice when you shouldn't have been there in the first place. Give it some time and be good to each other and yourselves, don't be afraid to ask for help and please come back and let us know how you are getting on.
