    Very interesting. Shame it didn't suggest the use of lie detectors for both the accused & the accuser.

        Interesting article - in my view the article highlights many factors about why the government need to introduce a time limit on these types of allegations. As the article points out, it's very difficult to defend yourself against a historic allegation which was alleged to have happened years ago and most of the evidence will be based on the accuser's statement. Also, the savage cuts in legal aid are adding to the problem by making it more difficult for people to obtain appropriate legal representation in these complex type of cases which are unlike other alleged crimes and require a specialist in the area who knows the signs of a false allegation.
