  • NFA in writing?

    Hi all
My OH was told NFA on 2nd December by phone via our solicitor.
We still haven't had anything in writing.
Does anyone know if this is usual?
Has anyone else had written confirmation and if so, how long was it after verbal communication of NFA?
    Thanks
    YoH

Some people get it in writing and some don't. if one isn't forthcoming ask your MP to stick his neb in.

Not only could that help but it will also remind him or her that FAs happen to ordinary people too......

I would make sure you get it in writing. I was told last year by my solicitor it had been dropped when it hadn't.

          Noooo!
          How is that even possible???
I really hope that's not true in our case. Been such a nightmare.
I will be in touch with them for clarification!
          Thanks again!

The solicitor got it wrong. I was interviewed by Merseyside Police but it was Cambridgeshire who did the investigation. The solicitor contacted Merseyside who said it was NFA'd but in fact what that meant was they had completed their part in the investigation but that's all. The stupid solicitor didn't bother to check with Cambridgeshire and I found out a week later it was still on going.
