  • Police coming here why?

    MY stress levels are rising
Apparently a police officer is coming here tomorrow to speak to my son about being on the sex offenders registra ( FA ) why would they come here?

How can i keep myself from going off on one

Probably to explain what it entails and terms and conditions etc. I think it's probably nothing to worry about

How you treat them will reflect on how they treat you. They have the upper hand. They are now a necessary evil in your life (easy for me to say, I know) but you are where you are and you have to try to make the best of it, or suffer later on down the line.

You can make your and your son's life much easier by putting up with it. They have a job to do, and in the course of that job they have to meet some really hideous people who have committed the most terrible crimes.

If you make it easier for them, once they get to know you, hopefully they will be easier on you. It won't help to protest his innocence though. Just say you disagree with the verdict of the jury and you understand that they have a job to do.

I've known people have their lives made far worse because they decided to make things difficult for those officers.
