Thankfully the petition stresses the removal of financial compensation to be replaced by counselling as well as the need for a statue of limitations.

Thanks for the heads-up Amanda, hopefully if all the members on here and on Pafaa sign it will snowball the number of signatories.

Petitions like that have been floating around for years. If over 10K sign it, we get the usual whitewash. I've given up on them now.

No I'm not keen either- I don't really see how anonymous signatures change anything but I suppose I just thought "Why not?"

It won't do any harm but I can understand the disillusionment.

Signed and shared. One day it might happen , but if we all roll over and say ... Yeah, another campaign that will fail - life will never change

Pretty well what I feel. One one hand, these individual petitions don't seem to do much, on the other hand I think there's a cumulative effect and the more the issue is raised, the more the chance of someone taking notice.

And yes, if we don't ever do anything, nobody will ever take any notice at all.

Thanks CH. I wondered if it might be better in the "victims" section, but can see your logic.

Signed and shared. Long overdue and desperately needed!
