  • Defendant facing 24 counts on the indictment found NG in about an hour - on Legal Aid

Just goes to show that there are some really fab legally aided solicitors and barristers out there.

I've just had news of 24 NG verdicts in just over an hour after the jury went out to deliberate.

This is proof you don't have to spend a fortune to get the right result - you just need to pick the right solicitor and barrister.

I'll find out who they are and add them to the list if they are not already on there.

It really gives me comfort to know there are good juries out there; especially as we draw closer to our sons court date.

I was thinking of going to a rape court case before ours, so I can see what to expect sort of thing.
Is it a good idea ?

And if so : nearest would be Manchester or preferably Leeds. Anyone know of any coming up in those areas ? I may not be much use as support - other than a mature friendly face tho.

      Thanks for any guidance.

Find out where you barrister is due to be (at trial) and then you can see how he/she operates. The solicitor will be able to tell you.

I've been to trials where there have been people in the public gallery who are clients of the same solicitor and barrister, and they've gone in to observe.

If your barrister isn't at trial locally to you for some time, then look in local newspapers and see where there are similar type trials due to be heard.

          Thank you RF

Our barrister works out of London, but travels. I'll try all options you suggest

          Thanks again
