Agreed but could it not have been kept (if there was anyway ) from the initial visit to the havens?

Do the police already have your DNA on file?
Or was it taken when you were arrested?

Never been arrested before and never had DNA taken.
        Nothing on file.

It's difficult not knowing what the actual allegations are and unless you're charged you won't know exactly what she has alleged.
Could just be that you haven't denied digital penetration and this is what she is saying happened.
It's more a case of consent?
Try not to overthink it or speculate.
Unless you're charged you won't know.
          And that may never happen!
Stay positive in the mean time.

Thanks - really appreciate your guidance.

When at interview the allegation was digital penetration when going through "black out" - hence consent is the issue.
My rebuttal was that she was kissing me and then proceeded to take me through to the bedroom.
Surely if she wasn't consenting at that point she would have said stop etc.

My feeling is that if they had further allegations they would have put them to me at interview?

Very keen for all this to go away !

No allegation of force or that "no" was said.
That's why I think the toxicology is crucial.

I know it's an impossible question but considering all of the above do you think I will be charged?

Oh if only we could answer that!
My husband is still waiting after nearly 5 months since interview!
The only thing we can do is wait.
I really wish we could know!
Try not to speculate, it'll do your head in!!
We're just grateful for each day without charge now the initial shock has worn off.
Hang in there! It might never happen.

Just heard from my solicitor and she thinks that with the recent media publicity regarding booze/drugs and consent that I will more than likely be charged.

                      Hang in there.
If you do get charged (and you still might not) then you will need to be in good shape.
Think of it as a chance to give your side of the story.
But try not to panic yet.
If you are charged, at least you know what you're dealing with and then you can fight back.
                      Stay strong.

Hey Tony, what was the outcome? I hope positive?

I'm in exactly the same sounding situation, same allegation name too.
