  • Conservatives 2015 Manifesto for rape.

I have extracted the following paragraph.

"We will prioritise tackling violence against women and girls We have made protecting women and girls from violence and supporting victims and survivors of sexual violence a key priority. We will now work with local authorities, the NHS and Police and Crime Commissioners to ensure a secure future for specialist FGM and forced marriage units, refuges and rape crisis centres. We will ensure that all publicly-funded There are around 3,000 more adult male prison places today than in 2010 60 THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY MANIFESTO 2015 advocates have specialist victims' training before becoming involved in serious sexual offences cases. We have set up and independant statutory inquiry into child sexual abuse, and will make sure it can challange institutions and individuals without fear or favour, and get to the truth. And we will continue the urgent work of overhauling how our police, social services and other agencies work together to protect vulnerable children, especially from the kind of organised grooming and sexual exploitation that has come to light in Rotherham, and other towns and cities across the UK."

    This is all good stuff.

However, there is no mentioned that the rape conviction rate in England for 2014 fell to its lowest level ever recorded with a 33% conviction rate. Also, there was no mention of the 2000 men were acquitted on rape charges in the Crown Courts costing the taxpayer on average £80K per case.

The reason for these high levels of acquittals was because the Police and CPS were targeted by the Government on the number of men charged with rape and not being convicted of rape. So many weak rape cases went to court, which ordinarily would have been dropped by the Police and CPS due to lack of evidence.

All this cases were suppose to prove the theory that high levels of unreported sex crimes such as rape existed in many couples bedrooms. I know from my own case after a domestic dispute with my ex-wife when the police were called almost the first question they asked her was if I ever raped her. This process is called flagging, but only 2 husbands were convicted of raping their wives in 2014. Out of about 1000 husbands who were charged with raping their ex-wife but found not guilty.

I was told by my Barrister that the CPS case was very weak, but the CPS still went ahead with the trial where my ex-wife never accused me of raping her. Also, the 5 witnesses who were called to give evidence against me also never accused me of raping my ex-wife.

This included my own 75 year old mother who said she knew nothing about me raping my ex-wife. My mother told me that she was interviewed by the police twice investigating the rape allegations made by my ex-wife. She was asked what I was like as a child and was my 26 year old marriage which produced 3 children a forced marriage. I did not see the point in this line of questioning. It appears the the Police and CPS did not even read the witness statements made and still went ahead with a rape trial that had no witnesses or medical evidence, which the jury found me not guilty of all 5 counts of rape.

I have read my ex-wife first statement to the police, but never actually said I raped her, instead she said that she did not like having sex with me since 1992. The CPS then said that I committed multiple rape over 20 years with a 18 year prison sentence if found guilty.

There is no other serious crime such as murder where the Police and CPS do not have to provide a shred of evidence at the trial. But no matter what the CPS Barrister says will convince the jury that rape occurred and the defendant should be found guilty as charged.
