I'd write to the Chief of CPS in your area and ask exactly what they intend to do with this. Do you have this retraction and the reason for it in writing, or recorded somewhere? You'd need evidence of it to proceed.

Yes we do have it down on paper well email the father is in crown court next month for breaking his court order not to put any thing on the internet about this but quess what he put my addressable on face book and not stoped for 2 years this guy went into my wife's work Asda shouting me and my wife were pedo,s cos she believed me that I was inicent makes her one the police think they have the evidence to get them but the CID bloke today told me he can't take the case as he know them or new of them or some bull**** waiting for inspector to ring me it's just a massive joke my life as been on hold for 2 years but they can't be arsed even one of the main papers are behind it and they can't believe how slow they are I reported this 1 month ago and have no body assigned the the job Evan though CID have the case

I have a problem with my eyes that means I find it difficult to read a block of text, especially if there is no punctuation. Too many years with my eyes glued to the screen with my work I think!

From what I understand, you think the police has evidence to prove that the allegations are false, yes?

If so, the OIC claims he cannot do anything because he knows the accuser and his father,yes? And because of this, only the Inspector can look at it with a view to prosecuting the accuser (and possibly his father) - have I understood that correctly?

It's possible that the OIC is not a high enough rank to investigate this sort of a crime anyway - hence bringing in an inpsector.

I think that if I am right in what I have said above, I would write one last time to the Inspector, keep a copy of the letter, and say that you have had your life on hold for two years or so, as a victim of false allegations, and you now want to know what they intend to do about it.

Give him a fortnight to respond (tell him that you are expecting a reply within 14 days otherwise you will take this further).

If he fails to respond, or if he does but he appears to be fobbing you off, I would write to the Chief of the CPS in your area and outline your concerns.

It may well help your case if you remind them that false allegations make it far more difficult for genuine victims to obtain justice. While the police and CPS allow false accusers to get away with it, genuine victims will continue to worry about reporting real offences, because they fear they will not be believed.

Try to write the letter in small paragraphs like this post, so it is easily read and understood.

How this happened the child who is now 24ish starting messaging a friend of mine and it all come out about the lies so my friend went to the police with the eviendce and they aggred they had enough to get

Spoke to inspector 1 week ago and he told me it had been assigned to a CID
He rung me today to tell me he could not deal with the case

After 4 weeks with out any arrest it's joke if I was women walking in the police station claiming rape there are all over it they never chase the accuser always the acused

Hon, write to the chief of CPS in your area.

You can search on Google for CPS and then type in the area you are in.

That should bring up a link that should tell you who the chief is and their address.
