  • preliminary hearing?

After being seen at the magistrates court the case has been passed up to crown court for next year.

Today we receive notification of a preliminary hearing end of month! Is this a good sign? We have now seen the prosecution evidence and its a bit ropey at best all facebook talk from the girl and her mates and one statement saying she saw something!

Is there a chance of this being thrown out?

None of us can know that as we've not seen any paperwork. Most trials do go the whole way although a few are dumped either before or during the course of a trial.

All you can do is to find evidence to rebut what you have seen so far. The person who claims they "saw something" - look on their FB to see where they were on that date, if their profile is public.
