  • requisition to answer charges

My partner has now received a letter informing him he must appear at the courthouse to answer charges.
The only problem is we don't understand the details of the charges. There are 3 charges the first two are identical and the 3rd is only different with the dates.

All the dates are a miss match of when he was actually there with his ex wife the alligation comes from her younger sister.

im guessing this court date is just him announcing "not guilty" to the charges but when or how can we submit evidence that we have and can anyone explain what these charges mean?

The charges all say 'person aged 18 or over engage in non - penetrative sexual activity with ............. contary to section 9 (1)(a), (b), (c)(I) & (3) of the sexual offences act 2003.

    what happens now?

It sounds like a Plea and Case Management hearing. Usually lasts about half an hour. He gets asked guilty or not guilty. He looks straight ahead and says clearly not guilty to each.

There might be some legal argument and requests for certain info such as medical records, etc.
