If she understandably wants to keep this private she could pass it on to me via the contact a moderator protocol on this link:

I will then pass it on to you.....

I think because im so new im not allowed to do certain things. Thank you RF for the info, going to get that book. I am not sure about the limitation act, but will have a look as they have covered that grounds already with pshycological reports saying she was not mentallly ready to bring this up until recently. But there is so many lies in her story it even changed from when we went to trial till now she added new things.

Sorry to mislead you, I'd hoped the system might allow you to pm a mod earlier than the statuary 10 days for members but obviously not.

RF might have some other suggestions for getting in touch with her......

Sorry I have been so quiet. Met with a solicitor on Friday. News was so overwhelming. They applied for a short notice freeze order on our property. We had no choice but to sign a form to place a restriction on our property. Basically, our cost to defend the case could rise to £60k and above, if we win we cannot claim our cost back. If we loose we have to pay whatever she is awarded and her legal cost as well. So she win all round.
To save on cost the solicitor made a proposal for us to consider is to try and pay her off, which feels like you are admitting to something you havent done.

This is so unfair. Everyone who has been falsely accussed, please be aware that you might find yourself in the same position.

I am so angry, we are being made homeless by this person.

So you don't intend to defend this citing limitation act, asking to see medical records?

I am horrified by this and apologise for giving you false reassurance regarding a lien on your property in my earlier post on this thread.

I am still certain that it will be the courts decision as to who pays for the winning side's legal costs though I thought I'd better back this opinion up with a link from the web:

Finally, the court will make its decision, including deciding who should pay which legal costs. Although you may be able to appeal against a decision, this can be difficult and will inevitably increase costs further.

RF we are going to defend it, its just heart breaking to think she put us in a situation where we have to sell our house to defend these allegations.

Casehardened thank you very much for that link, Ive learnt a few things there that I did'nt know.

Its clear these allegations are all about money. For two years we went through hell with the criminal procedings and now this and we have been advised that it could take up to 18 months to get a trial date.
